When and Where I come from, Mother ‘s day isn’t much heard of. Even though I don’t need a day to love my Mom and I love and respect my parents anyways but am sure glad that there is a day that celebrates Motherhood. God knows Moms need to be appreciated more! So this Mother’s day, my husband and my older one got a bouquet of red roses and a huge card for me. My husband told my son –
Him- It’s a surprise for Mommy. We can’t tell her. When she goes to sleep, we will write “Happy Mother’s Day” on the card and give her in the morning with the flowers. It’s a secret so Shhhhhhhh.

Have I told you that Spring is my absolute favorite time of the year? There is nothing that I don’t love about it. Beautiful blooms, sunny 70’s, happy birds, bouncing children, flying Frisbees, longer days, biking, berry picking, ice-creams and smoothie marathons. yeah, I love Spring. But my heart goes out to those who can’t enjoy it due to pollen allergies. Such a beautiful time of the year goes either staying indoors in hibernation or masking oneself (in vain) hoping those small, nasty, pesky little pollens would stay out of our bodies.
