One would think that Dal Badam Halwa would taste like a combination of dal and badam halwas. But I assure you that is not the case. The Jodhpuris will tell you that even though it has the taste and texture from moong dal and richness from almonds, it has its own unique and delicious taste parallel to none. Here is the recipe:
Ingredients:
100 gms yellow Moong Dal
75 gms Almonds
150 gms Ghee
For syrup:
1 and 1/4 cup Water
120 gms Sugar
Saffron and Pistachios for garnish
