If you have ever been to Jodhpur, you would have definitely been asked to make a stop at Mishrilals for his world-famous Makhaniya Lassi. It is one of those things that you can never forget, no matter how much time has passed by. Who doesn’t love a cooling and refreshing Lassi? But Mishrilal’s is not just any Lassi. It is a very special, incredibly luscious Makhaniya Lassi.
This Jodhpur Makhaniya Lassi is flavored with saffron, cardamom and rose-water among the other good things and is so thick that the only way you can eat it is with a spoon. It is topped with a thick layer of yogurt-cream and a generous dollop of hung curd. If that wasn’t enough, it is garnished with cardamom seeds, pistachios and saffron on top.
I have tried to imitate Mishrilal’s delicious, one-of-a-kind, lip-smacking Makhaniya Lassi. My family absolutely loved it. Hope you like it too.
