No-Bake Triple Berry Cake
Temperatures are soaring all over India. Sun is staring right in your face until the late hours of the day and it is safe to say that turning on the oven falls somewhere at the bottom of anyone’s list of priorities. It probably would remain turned off all throughout the summers, if not for the kids. Who has the heart to listen to their incessant pleading and watch their eternal pouting when they set their hearts on baking a cake? For the past few days, every where I am going, I am seeing and hearing the ‘V’ word. Now I like Valentine’s day just fine. We even celebrate it in our own little way, every year. And, I am not one of those who thinks you don’t need a specific day to show love nor do I feel that every day can be a Valentine’s day. (Though, nothing wrong with either of the above thinking.) But seriously, in my opinion, every day can NOT be a Valentine’s day. Between bills to pay and kids to raise, race to lose weight and preparing early morning lunch-boxes, vacuuming the floors and cleaning color-painted walls, 
I don’t know what else to call it!! I really don’t!! When I first saw this brioche in Dorie Greenspan’s book ‘Baking- From my home to yours’, I knew instantly (actually, after I had drooled all over that page) that I won’t be able to sleep unless I make this bread. Even though this bread required multiple rises, there was no way in the world that I would go on with my life without tasting a slice of this glorious bread. And I have to tell you, it was my best ‘To-bake-or-Not-to-bake’ decision ever!!!! One bite into this bread and I was an official Dorie Greenspan FAN. I, then emailed the ‘HMH Trade Publishing’ house and asked for their permission to use this recipe on my blog and they were gracious enough to let me.
